Mass Effect: Andromeda

Bioware’s latest space epic was universally panned, but was it really that bad?

Thimbleweed Park

A classic game that keeps reminding us how classic it is. I discuss Thimbleweed Park and the future of the past!

What Remains of Edith Finch

It’s been a long time since any form of entertainment has had such an impact on me as much as What Remains of Edith Finch – be it a game, film, book or anything else.

Ori and The Blind Forest

I’m somewhat of a closed book even to my family and closest friends, yet when it comes to something like this, a 25 year-old lad can talk freely about blubbing like a baby! It’s amazing what games can do if you give them a chance.

Shovel Knight

A pure and fun video game, which is light-hearted, easy to pick up and a genuine delight. Just what was needed!

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

A mouthful of a name for a convoluted game.

Actual Sunlight

Actual Sunlight is probably best described as a text adventure more than anything, with top-down 4-way movement and interaction with people and objects. However the gameplay is somewhat irrelevant.

Alien Isolation

I am a total wuss. Whether it be games, films, TV shows, books or any other media; I have some sort of phobia of getting nightmares or being made to jump. Probably not the best game for me to play then, or so I thought.

Child of Light

Whimsical music in a mystical world, With turn-based combat in an RPG,
Why didn’t I play this one before? Sounds like the perfect game for me!

Kairo

I have absolutely no idea what’s going on, but that’s the point.

The Swapper

I had never heard of this game beforehand, making it perfect for what I was looking for in these posts.
